Lentswe, Klerksdorp - Pharmaceutical Services at Klerksdorp and Thepong hospitals are inundated with patients from neighbouring towns and to ease the load would prefer mainly patients from the Kosh Area. The service issued a statement on July 10 where they stated that their pharmacies in Matlosana will not issue repeat medication to patients from July 14. They, however, failed to specify that it is only applicable to patients from neighbouring towns, as patients who visit from neighbouring towns will be referred back to their own medical facilities to pick up their repeat medication.
This ruling will make it easier for the patients as they would not have to travel to the hospitals in Klerksdorp and Jouberton.
