Kanana Primary School won bronze at the national Kay Motsepe Cup u13, held at Soshanguve from October 9 to 11. They won the prize money of R300 000, after winning R100 000 at provincial level. The elated group consists of Kgalamone Lesego, Ngubo Kamohelo, Makhubalo Thobile, Tjola Tshepo (C), Mtuze Keamohetswe, Dlamini Sibusiso, Katleho Tshabalala (Head Coach),  Maseola (Ass Coach) Majola and Sejake (team manager), Ntsoahae (provincial chairperson), Tsolo Bongani, Seleke Obakeng, Phama Teboho, Pharoe Madimatle, Kunene Oratile and Mokgalakgadi Resegofetse and the school’s principal.
