Lentswe, Jouberton - The Tswelelopele Netball Club is a safe haven for young girls and boys aged 7-20 to grow, learn, and thrive. According to the coach, Tsholofelo Pitso, the club is more than just a sports team - it’s a community that empowers young individuals to become confident, compassionate, and responsible individuals. Through netball, they provide a positive outlet for the youth to channel their energy, develop teamwork skills, and build lasting friendships.
The dedicated coaches and mentors are committed to teaching valuable life skills, such as respect, empathy, and self-discipline that will benefit our young players far beyond the court.
By participating in the club, the youth are protected from the dangers of the streets and the negative influences that can lead them astray. The club is grooming a generation of young leaders who will make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
They participated in a league match at Hoërskool Stilfontein last weekend and the players had a fantastic time.
The experience was invaluable, and they are grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of it.
However, they are in dire need of essential equipment to continue providing the best possible experience for the youth. They are appealing to potential sponsors to support them with netball kits, balls, and goal posts.
“We are proud of our players and the progress they’ve made so far, and we’re excited to continue growing and learning together. We believe that with the right support and guidance, our youth can achieve greatness and become the best versions of themselves.”
