Lentswe, Kanana - Kanana Royals hosted a netball and soccer tournament for under 15s at Arefenyeng primary school on Saturday November 11. 
The purpose of the tournament was to bring communities together through sports and bring hope, drive, passion, and joy to the youth. The founders of the organisation are Nthabeleng Kubake, Thato Motaung, Puleng Kubake and Gaelebale Letebele.

Five teams for Netball (Titans Netball Club, Cannon Netball Club, K.Royals Netball Club, Survivors Netball Club and Juice Netball Club) and 8 teams for soccer (Survivors FC, Matlosana Royals FA, Kanana Young Chelsea, Kanana Celtics, O.R.K Young Zebras, Cloud 9 FC, Striking Mountain Movers and Makhoti FC) participated. 

In netball, Survivors took second place and Juice won. Ntobizodwa Mabaso from Juice Netball Club won the outstanding player trophy. In soccer, Zebras took silver medals, 

Striking Mountains won the Champions of the Tournament. Siyanda Mbowana from Striking Mountains was player of the tournament.

“We thank the school for using their premises and Kabelo Potsanaye, Katlego Makwae and Lefa for officiating the games. A special Thank you to Maxwell Mpiti, Thembile Molothane and Coach Tsela for making sure on the soccer side thing are going well,’’ said Kubake.
