Klerksdorp Midweek, Wolmaransstad - Die plaaslike hoërskool se bierfees volgende week pas na die skool vir die tweede kwartaal begin het, is net die regte medisyne om te hou tot die winter skoolvakansie.
Die fees vind op 5 April plaas en dit gaan ‘n partytjie soos min wees.
Die kaartjies kos R250 elk en sluit ‘n ete in. Ketelkraal “beer on tap” sal beskikbaar wees en ‘n Duitse oompah-orkes sal die musiek maak. 
Bierbekers en ginglase sal te koop wees. Die fees vind by die plaaslike skouterrein plaas. Meer inligting en besprekings by 073 768 7037. Gou spring, want die kaartjies verkoop soos soetkoek.

Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - The reigning Mrs Klerksdorp, Lizelle Mahoney ended her fundraising initiative for Evanna Old Age Home in Hartbeesfontein on a high note. She donated sanitary products, vegetables, meat and clothes on behalf of the Klerksdorp community to the retirement home. “I am incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support and interest shown towards my project. I extend my deepest appreciation to all those who have donated and contributed to this worthy cause.

Bridget Kleu completed her 350th Parkrun on Saturday March 16. That is the equivalent of walking from Nelspruit to Cape Town (1 750 km). She is the event director at the Matlosana Bird Parkrun and she did her first Parkrun at Makadu on October 11 2014. She has also volunteered 350 times. Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - Measles, a highly contagious airborne virus, is on the rise global-ly, presenting a significant threat to public health in South Africa. According to research conducted by both the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), it is envisaged that by the end of 2024, over half of all countries - about 105 will face a high or very high risk of measles outbreaks.
