Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - ‘n Groep laerskoolseuns van twee Klerksdorp laerskole het aan die Pre Boks Cup in Bloemfontein deelgeneem en met die beker huis toe gekom. Die spannetjie seuns, almal in Laerskool La Hoff en Goudkop, is as die beste Gr RR-span aangewys. Die Welpies, soos hulle hul span genoem het, het op 13 September na Bloemfontein gereis waar hulle aan drie groep wedstryde, die semi-finaal en finale wedstryd deelgeneem het.

Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - Glenly Primary School is excited about their golf day on October 3 taking place at Klerksdorp Golf Club. The format is 2 ball American Scramble and the cost is R1500 per four ball. Huge prizes are up for grabs including prize money of R50 000 for the golfer who hits a hole in one. Simply Smashing wins padel league
The Klerksdorp Ladies Padel League ended on a high note for the Simply Smashing team. The league was held from August 14 to September 16, where two teams of 12 players each competed against each other. The winning team’s members are (front) Maggie Botha, Susan Bester, Stefani Pieterse, Jolene Ridgway, Tiýana Lourens, and (back) Tarryn Stephenson, Ronel Langenhoven, Darnet le Roux, Marita Faul, Ros Olsson, Karen Louw and Michelle Snyman.Club celebrates 50 years
The Klerksdorp Wrestling Club celebrated their 50th anniversary. Wrestlers from all over the country gathered to compete, and it was a fiercely competitive atmosphere on September 13. Local wrestlers that took part are Owen Wetdewich, Lesedi Mongale, Pieter Strydom, Aiden Wetdewich, Bismarck Botha, Luka Gocev, Connor de Lange, Renier Botha and (front) Pierre du Toit, Bendre Pretorius, Sion Hoffman, Callum Wetdewich and Markus van Wyk. Luke Edwards, Alex Rive and Zach Rive were absent when the photo was taken.
Countdown to the Sevens Festival
Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - One of the country’s biggest and oldest sports festivals is taking place next month. The Sevens Festival at KHS is scheduled for October 3 and 4 and it will rock! The Golf Cup is scheduled for September 26, with 44 teams, and the bowls event for September 27 and 29 - with 36 teams!
