Klerksdorp Squash Club hosted their business league. It was a big success with a big turnout. Various teams participated, and the team sponsored by Stev Cornelius won the event. The captain Divan Potgieter did an excellent job. He is seen with Zander Cornelius, Juan le Roux and Pika Ferreira. Eight teams participated.

Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA) shall be holding its ever popular 13th Online Inter-school Provincial Championships on Saturday March 3. An important feature of this championship, is that it is open to any learner, whether or not the school is affiliated or not, however, approval from the school is required. Such approval must come from an educator or competent school official.

Klerksdorp Midweek, Potchefstroom - The 2024 Varsity Cup and FNB Varsity Shield competitions are ready to once again showcase the best of student rugby the country has to offer. The Varsity Cup competition kicked off on Monday February 19 with the UFS Shimlas and UCT Ikeys clashing. The clash between WSU and UKZN in Mdantsane at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium (19:00) on Thursday February 22 sees the start of the Varsity Shield competition.

Mosehla Paseka from iKhayalehtu Athletics Club won The Aurum Institute Klerksdorp Marathon at Hoërskool Wesvalia on Sunday February 11. This 42.2km race was his first competition, and he aced it, in perfect running weather. He finished in 02:30:33. He is with Tanya Nielson, representative of Aurum.

Amos Molete (SGB member of Western Reefs Primary School, with some of the school’s top athletes who qualified for the Dr KK Primary School District Championship that will be held in Potchefstroom on February 23. They are Thandeka Matshikiza, Tsholofelo Chauke, Siyabonga Lemotlo, Hlompho Mapane, Phatsimo Motaung, Thlonolofatso Mafulako and Ntabeleng Matobako.
