Rustenburg consumers are divided after allegations that a local contractor working for the Rustenburg Municipality have dumped sewerage water into a free-flowing river in Middel Street recently. When prompted for an explanation a concerned community member was told that water was in fact pumped from the river and not vice versa.

RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - After at least eight days of unbearable heat, dreadfully long nights without air-conditioners as a result of load-shedding and almost 14 days of empty taps for hundreds if not thousands of residents of Geelhoutpark and Tlhabane West, there is little doubt that the last quarter of October 2019 will go down as one of the most trying periods in a long time in our town’s history.
