Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - The Lions Clubs of Klerksdorp and Stilfontein announced their newly-elected presidents during a special ceremony held on July 12.

Mina van Biljon was appointed as the new president of Lions Club Klerksdorp, while Shelby van Schalkwyk will lead the Stilfontein branch. The evening also marked the induction of three new members into the Lions family: Marietjie Meyer, Brian Wilson, and Lindie Wrensch.

Their dedication to community upliftment promises to bring new energy and ideas to the clubs’ ongoing projects. “We are excited about the journey ahead and the impact we can make together,” said Van Biljon. “Our mission is simple - to serve with compassion and make a difference where it’s needed most.”

Van Schalkwyk echoed this sentiment, encouraging the public to get involved. “We invite individuals and businesses to support our initiatives, every contribution helps us change lives.”

The Lions Clubs extend a heartfelt call to the community: Please consider donating or volunteering for this good cause. Together, we can build a stronger, healthier, and more compassionate society.
