MAHIKENG MAIL-MAHIKENG: The CEO of Housing Corporation, Sello Mogodiri said the gesture of building a house for the Thupayagae family was to restore dignity as well as to demonstrate that Housing Corporation had the capacity to building houses. 


He alluded this statement during the official hand over of the house belonging to Kelaegile Thupayagae  and her family in Lorwaneng village on Tuesday in the presence of the acting Premier, Nono Maloyi.
Thupayagae’s house was built after touching story that was published by Mafikeng mail newspaper where Thupagae was making plea to the government and members of the public to help her fix or get a proper house. 
The house was seen with falling walls, cracks and holes that made Thupayagae live in fear as the house could falloff anytime considering harsh weather conditions.
In response to this urgent plea, the Entity took swift action by mobilizing its resources and initiating the construction of a new house that was fully furnished for Thupayagae and her family, as per the instruction from the North West Premier,
Thupayagae who was enjoyed by getting early Christmas was presented with the keys to her new, by the Acting Premier Nono Maloyi, Ngaka Modiri Molema District Municipality, Mayor Khumalo Molefe, Mahikeng Local Mayor Tshepiso Mphehlo, Church leaders and Lorwaneng community. 
The program commenced with a collective spiritual prayer session led by pastors from diverse denominations, aimed at praying for leadership to be given the strength to guide the government and bring about positive change to the North West province
