NOORDWESTER - BIESIESVLEI – A police-community partnership is a form of community policing used to fight crime to ensure a safe living and working environment. 
At the end of November 2023, the police and the Community Police Forum (CPF) gathered the community of Ga-Maloka village in Sector 1 to reason together pertaining crime in the surrounding areas. Henceforth the Community in Blue Patrollers and the Tribal Council formed part of this event, the residents came in huge numbers.

The Chairperson of the Spiritual Crime Prevention Forum Reverend Thabiso Morake opened the meeting with a prayer, followed by Mr Pako Nchoe who welcomed everyone at the gathering. Mr Pogiso Dinana highlighted the purpose of the visit which was to give feedback to the community as well as engaging in the challenges they are experiencing regarding crime. Warrant Officer Vincent Mogapi and Sergeant Mpho Setlhare addressed the challenge of communication lines, procedure after arrest and attendance of complaints. Attendees were granted an opportunity to take part through questions and comments. Stock Theft was raised as a major concern and the Visible Policing Commander will engage with the unit. The Station Commander Captain Thandiswa Mahube thanked the community members for their attendance, cooperation and participation and urged for continuity in the fight against crime.
