NOORDWESTER – SANNIESHOF - Sannieshof Station Commissioner Captain O. P Direng and the the Mayor of Tswaing Local Municipality lead a Counterfeit campaign ensuring that local stores are complying with regulations. Ngaka Modiri Molema Health Inspectors Mr Motingwe and Mr T. Tsagae and members from Provincial Traffic, Tswaing Station and Immigration officials to also checked the status of the business owners and members from Customs service.
Community members were informed that they should check when they buy goods from local stores. They must also work with the police in fighting crime. Expired goods were confiscated and taken from the shelves to be disposed.
The community of Agisanang welcomed the work done by the police. Mayor Mhangu encouraged all and said it must ensure communities are well taken care of. Thank you to all who took part in the successful campaign.
