The Klerksdorp Magistrate Court was packed to the brim on Tuesday 21 October, during the appearance of the 26-year-old man who is accused of mutilating and killing a disabled boy.

People have been complaining about the work on the N12 at two construction sites that cause major traffic jams and also some accidents.

Sandstrom accident

The sandstorm that raged over Klerksdorp last week caused at least one accident. Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an accident at the intersection of Porter and Whitfield Street in Songloed on Thursday 16 October after two vehicles crashed into each other. The police are investigating a case of reckless and negligent driving. Reports from the scene indicate that visibility in the area was affected by the storm.  Two people were transported to hospital by Netcare 911 for further medical attention.

Nog geen antwoorde oor stadige ambulans

Klerksdorp - Meer as ’n week het verloop sedert die tragiese dood van ’n vrou wat in ’n huisbrand gesterf het en steeds is daar geen antwoord van EMRS oor hul ambulans wat glo omtrent ’n uur geneem het om by die huis op te daag.
