Klerksdorp Rekord, Klerksdorp - Gemeentelede van die Lede in Christus kerk het Maandagmiddag 8 Desember met skok en afgryse reageer na die nuus dat die kerk se afgetrede pastoor, sy vrou en hul volwasse seun in ‘n motorongeluk gesterf het.
Michiel Erasmus (69), sy vrou Betsie (68), en hul seun, Martin (47), was onderweg na Sandton vir mediese behandeling vir Michiel toe hulle omstreeks 15:00 in ‘n wolkbreuk en haelstorm beland. Dit was tussen Fochville en Westonaria in Gauteng.Read more: Egpaar, seun sterf in botsing op N12 -
Rhino horn stolen in robbery
Klerksdorp Record, Hartbeesfontein - The Hawks are looking into an alleged armed robbery at a game farm near Hartbeesfontein where a substantial amount of cash and more than 90 rhino horns were stolen.
Klerksdorp Record was told confidentially that the victim claims he was sleeping when three unknown suspects entered his home. He was tied up and 98 rhino horns, two cellphones and R50 000 cash were stolen. It happened in the early hours of Monday December 8.Read more: Rhino horn stolen in robbery -
