Klerksdorp Record, Potchefstroom - Inclement weather interrupted two of Auto Investments North West Dragons’ home games last week as they look to secure a CSA T20 Challenge semifinal spot.

The match between Momentum Multiply Titans and Auto Investment North West Dragons on April 1 only lasted 17.1 overs before rain forced the game to be abandoned and the points shared between the two sides. The match between the Dragons and AET Tuskers, also in Potch, on Wednesday April 3 was also abandoned due to rain.

The Hollywoodbets Dolphins overcame the Dragons by 19 runs in Potchefstroom on Sunday April 7 thanks to half centuries from Marques Ackerman and Eathan Bosch.

The duo, the only two to reach double figures, strung together a remarkable recovery for their side after they had been emphatically reduced to 39/7 when they lost the toss and were put in to bat.

The former scored 72* off 46 balls (6 fours, 2 sixes) and the latter hit 66 off 38 balls (6 fours, 1 six) in an eighth wicket partnership of 134 that ended with the last ball of the innings.
