Lentswe, Kanana - Phodiso Worship, led by Apostle TD Mofokeng Centre, hosted its inaugural conference. The conference took place at Bothaville, Naledi, within a sub-circuit of the church overseen by Mod N Mofokeng. The conference was moving and impactful, with a strong sense of God’s presence felt right from the start, as the attendees experienced a street revival while approaching the venue in the small town. This drew numerous youth and older individuals to commit their lives to the Lord.
Apostle Mofokeng, the church leader, officially opened the event and declared it the year’s official conference.
He elaborated on the subject and offered words of encouragement. In his motivational remarks, he stated that whenever you begin to shape your life, people will gossip, and there will always be a stir when you initiate something positive.
“However, we must continue progressing regardless of our environment or others’ opinions”, and through his words, he was embodying the development of the Bothaville Branch.
The conference had compelling sermons from Mr Van Wyk of the African Presbyterian Church) and Rev FS Mofokeng.
Their main argument was that people should constantly gather only the positive aspects and incorporate them into everyday lives.
They urged the congregation to consistently have faith in the Lord and seek His help at all times. The occasion concluded with a joyous moment spent among the attendees, as they enjoyed a meal, shared laughter, and certainly had a wonderful time.
The aim of Phodiso is not only to spread the word of God locally, but as the word states we ought to spread the word of God globally and let people know that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour.
