Lentswe, Klerksdorp - Leano La Bophelo is a non-profit organization founded by Rathebe Michael Mojaki with the aim of promoting history and creating jobs for the community. The group is known for its commitment in hosting Heritage events for Matlosana community as it was leased for Goudkoppie Heritage Site by the Matlosana Municipality. This year more than 900 plus people attended the event on September 24 to celebrate heritage.
This included Chief Manyedi Solomon Makgele Makokwe from the Gam Royal Kingdom, District Mayor`s Office, Art and Culture Matlosana Municipality, traditional healers, pastors, Men’s Forum Mpone ke Gobene, local traditional groups, community at large and exhibitors.
Leano La Bophelo would like to extend its deepest gratitude to all the stake holders, performers, vendors and community members who attended, the 2025 Heritage Day event.
