Lentswe, Potchefstroom - The NW police participated in the national Take a Child to Work Campaign by exposing Gr 10 to 12 learners from different schools in the area to the working environment. Children were welcomed at the NW Airwing on May 22, where they were motivated by the Acting Provincial Commissioner, Major Patrick Asaneng, to “take off” and become people that will serve others. He said: “Go and be good doers”.

The children were taken to various exhibitions and received information with regard to the Career Centre, Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit, Flying Squad, Forensics, Mounted Unit, K9, Dive Unit and the Air Wing.
