Lentswe, Lebaleng  - The Ma-kwassie township buzzed with excitement as junior teams gathered in huge numbers at Lebaleng Stadium for the Maqwasi Hills Football Festival, hosted by Tee Metshameko in partnership with the Local Football Association (LFA).
The event took place on Saturday January 17. The trophy and medal winners are Black Wadada FC u13 champions from Wolmaransstad, and Paris Napoli from Lebaleng who also took top honours in the u15 division.

Their talent and sportsmanship set a new benchmark for youth football in the area.

The organisers thank all the coaches who dedicated their time and energy to train and support these young players, helping them shine on the field.

A big shout-out to every team that participated: your enthusiasm and competitive spirit made this tournament unforgettable.

They also thank the LFA Executive and Future Stars Executive who restored the soccer poles, while the municipality’s grader team prepared the pitch perfectly. A special thanks also to LFA chairperson, Mohau Mokgele.
