BRITS POS – BRITS – A double dream came true for Dan Tlhabane, a teacher at Letlhabile just outside of Brits, when he successfully published his first book “Shadows of Rejection” and won the prestigious African Writers Award in Sandton last week.
Dan (60) said that it took him 10 years to publish this book and that is was one of the greatest milestones in his life.

“Shadows of Rejection is about people who get rejected by family, friends, colleagues or any grouping,” he said. “It carries a message that it is not about you, but about your purpose on earth. You are being strengthened to build resilience and take those lessons to help others and stop feeling sorry for yourself.”
Writing this book was Dan’s journey through his own silent pain of being unwanted and the enlightenment of finding strength and endurance. “Shadows of Rejection sheds light on the wounds we hide and the resilience we build in the dark,” he said.
“My ambition with this book is for others to find the learning curve and the process of growing and maturing in spirit and in emotion.”
This book will definitely offer healing to the heartbroken and the rejected. For more information call Dan on 082 634 2083.
