    RUSTENBURG HERALD - NKANENG - The police in Rustenburg has reached a significant advancement in the search for crime syndicates menacing the area. 
    Crime Intelligence received a tip-off on Monday, 8 December, about suspects, who were allegedly involved in illegal mining, business robberies, extortion and other serious crimes within the area.

     
  • Kanana toddler allegedly poisoned by father

    RUSTENBURG HERALD - KANANA - The police in Boitekong are investigating a case of murder following the death of a four-year-old child at Matalaneng Section, Kanana Village. Rustenburg Police spokesperson Ofentse Mokgadi said it is alleged that during the early hours of Monday, 8 December, a 30-year-old man was left alone with his four-year-old son. Upon returning, a family member found the man unconscious with injuries to his neck and chest, and the child lying motionless on a bed.

     
  • Police tackle illegal mining in Moonooi

    RUSTENBURG HERALD - MOOINOOI - In a remarkable display of cooperation and resolve, the police in Mooinooi solidified the pursuit of safety in the community to neutralise the threat posed by illegal miners within the area.
    A formidable team comprising of members from the Tactical Response Team (TRT), Public Order Policing (POP) and Visible Policing (VISPOL) commenced with an operation on Friday, 12 December.
