The municipality announced the “temporary suspension of debit order payments for municipal accounts”. According to Thembi Mongale, debit order transactions will not be processed this month due to the closure of the municipality’s financial systems for year-end procedures.They appeal to residents to either pay by EFT, bank deposit, Easypay, Pay@ or in person at the municipality. “Normal debit order processing will resume next month,” said Mongale.
