Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - Rustenburg’s Impala Rugby Club visited the Markotter Stadium over the weekend. The team played against the local Klerksdorp rugby club on Saturday May 17. Both matches were very competitive. The second team returned home with a win (7-5). The match between the first teams was a hard, competitive high-scoring match and Impala triumphed 42-24.
Parkrun milestone
Elize Beukes ran her 200th parkrun at the Matlosana Bird Parkrun on Saturday May 17. She also volunteered 50 times at the event.
Wollies wen Classic Clash
Klerksdorp Midweek, Wolmaransstad - Die Schoonies het die afgelope naweek teen Hoërskool Wolmaransstad in die Classic Clash deelgeneem.
Dit was die 13de Clash tussen die skole en het op Vrydag, 9 Mei op Wollies se tuisveld plaasgevind. Al die wedstryde was baie kompeterend met Wollies wat die hokkie en netbal gewen het. Schoonies se hokkie-seuns het hul kragmeting gewen. Die rugby was alles in Wollies se guns.

Hockey club ready for season
Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - The NW Wolves Hockey club is looking for senior players who want to join their club. Klerksdorp has both a ladies and men’s team. They have scheduled training times in the evenings on the Astro pitch at Curro as well as organised games against other towns. It’s a nice way to meet new people and to stay in shape through winter months.
