Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - The esports titles to be played in all MSSA’s school championships and leagues have been announced.

The titles are CS GO, Valorant, FIFA ‘24, eFootball, Rocket League, DotA, Clash Royale, League of Legends, Clash of Clans, Mobile Legends Bang Bang and Street Fighter V.

The growth of esports starts at school level and is the breeding ground for champions. Many Protea esports teams that participate in international esports events are learners.

MSSA’s school championships and the NWU High School League too adhere to the laws in South Africa and take into account the physical and mental health of the participants. All games are played under acceptable supervision to prohibit unsavoury practices. As a result, age restrictions are enforced much to the chagrin of a number of recreational gamers. It must always be remembered that games exist within society’s norms.

MSSA is thus totally committed to ensure the validity of the event, the results attained, and the colours awarded.
