Lentswe, Jouberton - Monna Sechabeng and various government departments present a Jouberton Easter soccer tournament for 16 primary schools in the township over Easter weekend. Netball, skipping and jukskei will be played from April 19 to 21 at Kgarejane and Brazil Stadium, Jouberton swimming pool, Makoorta stadium as well as Matlosana stadium (finals).

Zamalek Masters and Arnold Motors clashed at the Recreation Centre on Sunday April 6. It was a tough game but Zamalek took the trophy 4-2. Katlego Thaba is the man of the match. Seen are Jazzbar Batsietsing, Katleho Thaba, Gift Ratlhogo, Chicha Nkatswang, Jerry Griqua, Dennis Moira, Petrus Mosupa, Masiza Motlhontlhong, Truppa Kgang, Moatlhodi Marumo, Doctor Thake, Keaobaka Lenyedi, Pro Mosimanyana, Oubasi Tlhone, Dodo Tlhone and Tovey Nqobo.

Lentswe, Klerksdorp - NW Shinkyokushinkai Karate aka Team Tom will be hosting the 13th Matlosana Cup on April 5 and 6. The first day is earmarked for juniors u18 and the second is set aside for Senior Knockdown event. Team Tom will be fully represented by these dojos: Milner, Chris Hani, Ext 16, Ithuseng, Mamusa, Lebaleng and Tsakane.
A Zimbabwean team has already sent a strong representative of 15 fighters, with Eswatini also expected to send a delegation. All SA provinces have also confirmed attendance of this prestigious and uniting tournament for all full contact groups. Entrance at the Banquet Hall, Civic Centre is free, proceedings to start at 10:00.

Jouberton Police and EMR met at Alabama Stadium on March 29. The policemen were too strong for EMR. Tshepo Tlhale (sports coordinator), Mpho Gaobuse (chairperson: EMR), Doctor Phono, SAPS captain, and Paseka Moliana (manager call centre), were at the prize giving. Zamalek Masters and Arnold Motors will meet at the Recreation Centre on Sunday April 6. Entrance is free. Kickoff at 11:30.

The students of Stilfontein Pyro Kickboxing Club participated in the recent NW Kickboxing Trails in Rustenburg. They were all chosen to represent the province at the National SA Kickboxing Championships at the end of April in Newcastle, KZN. They are Chuan van Niekerk, bronze for continuous fighting and bronze for points fighting, Ivan Murray, gold for low kick light fighting and gold for continuous fighting, Shando van Niekerk, silver for low kick light fighting, bronze for continuous fighting and 4th place for points fighting, Vian Booyse, gold for continuous fighting and gold for points fighting) and (front) Vinay Kitching, gold for points fighting, Keanen van Niekerk, silver for continuous fighting and bronze for low kick light fighting and Biané Kriel, gold for low kick light fighting and gold for continuous fighting.
