Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - The Orkney and Klerksdorp Animal Shelter’s fundraiser, dog show and family fun day took place over the weekend. The event, hosted by K9 Academy at Curro, was held on Saturday September 6 and was a huge success. The dog show categories were nicest rescue, smallest adult dog, largest friendly dog, best dressed, dog & owner look-a-like, ugliest adorable mutt, best dog trick, prettiest dog (small, medium, large) and prettiest dog of the year. Those attending were stunned by the obedience challenge, protection work, and Doglympics (50m sprint, high jump, long jump, hurdle race, obstacle race & dog jumping). All the pets gave their best in the different challenges.
