NOORDWESTER- THABA NCHU - Six provinces Retired Police Legends’ members attended the Region Conference this year, held on 8 March at Thaba Nchu in the Free State. Lekwa, Eastern, Free State, Bophirima, Greater Rustenburg and Central Regions were present. The chairperson, Darkie Morape (Free State) welcomed all and appreciated the good work done in die provinces.
Successful Career Day held at Coligny High School
NOORDWESTER – LICHTENURG - On March 4, Coligny High School held a Career Day where various career opportunities were exhibited by companies from surrounding areas.
The aim was to expose the learners to the wide range of career options that each company offers. Learners observed Human Capital NWK, SAPS Recruitment and Career Centre, Microbic, Boston College, NGI, Devine Beauty Spa and Action Ford Lichtenburg.

NOORDWESTER – MAHIKENG - Spokesperson Lebogang Mokgothu says the Central Region Retired Police Legend recently had their monthly meeting in Mahikeng to mainly discuss the trip to Thaba Nchu, Free State.
The AGM Conference for six regions will take place on 8 March. This event is a highlight for attending members.

NOORDWESTER - LICHTENBURG - Die voortslepende ANC/EFF-faksiegevegte in die Ditsobotla Plaaslike Munisipaliteit in Lichtenburg, het Dinsdag, 4 Maart die dorp weer in chaos gedompel.
Die chaos spruit voort uit die klaarblyklike weiering van die munispale bestuurder, Olaotse Bojosinyane, om sy afdanking te aanvaar. Ondanks ‘n beslissing van die arbeidshof dat hy heraangestel moet word, het die munisipaliteit daarteen geappelleer.

NOORDWESTER – LICHTENBURG – Vroue word hartlik uitgenooi na hiérdie geleentheid, spesiaal vir vroue regoor die wêreld.
Dit is die 95ste jaar dat Suid-Afrika aan hierdie wêreldwye ekumeniese gebedsdag deelneem, wanneer vroue uit verskillende lande vir mekaar bid. Die tema vir die dag is, “Ek het jou wonderbaarlik gemaak”.
