Klerksdorp Record, Kanana - Tributes are pouring in after the passing of Bishop Makoro.
Bishop OP Makoro (49), who served in ministry at Phodiso Worship Centre under the leadership of Apostle TD Mofokeng, passed away on April 29.
The centre family suffered a great loss at the passing of the bishop, who was deeply embedded into the church.
During Easter, he reminded the flock that “Dismas, the second sinner who was beside Jesus, repented and asked to be with the Lord in paradise”. A promise was made by Jesus and now the churchgoers believe that this promise was kept with Bishop Makoro. They believe that he is now enjoying the kept promises of the Lord.
He is survived by his wife and three children. Bishop Makoro’s funeral service will be held on Saturday May 10 at Mokati Hall in Kanana at 07:30.
