Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - Excitement was in the air on Saturday afternoon May 3 when the contestants in the Miss Teen Klerksdorp, Miss Klerksdorp and Mrs Klerksdorp competition got together for a photoshoot at the popular restaurant Rosemary’s.
Pageant Director Zee Dyson is thrilled with the new group of ladies participating in the pageant this year. The crowning ceremony will be held on July 5 at City on a Hill Church. In the meantime, the contestants have been tasked to keep themselves busy with charity work in their communities.
“These are working titles, and even though the winners receive huge prizes, a big part of their responsibility is to have an open heart for charity work,’’ said Zee.
She called on the community to support the ladies with their charity projects. Tickets for the event on July 5 are already available from finalists.
