Lentswe, Klerksdorp - New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day will be buzzing when the Hello Fest rocks the city. The event will take place at the Mshengu Fun City on the city’s borders. The Hello Fest launch hosted by Showtime Entertainment was held at Rio Casino on Thursday October 2, and it created excitement for the third edition of Klerksdorp’s premier cultural and family music festival happening at the end of 2025.
The launch brought together members of the press, community leaders, local influencers, sponsors, and music lovers - all eager to get a first look at what promises to be the most vibrant edition of Hello Fest yet.
Behind the mike was media personality Somizi giving everyone a glimpse of what to expect at the festival ringing out the old year.
Speaking on the body of work, organiser Molefi Setlaleleng, said: “The media launch was a good reflection of what Hello Fest is all about. Community, culture, and celebration. The incredible turnout and enthusiasm confirm that the city is ready to embrace Hello Fest as the ultimate destination for New Year’s Eve.”
The festival celebrates cultural, Hip-hop, Lekompo, Amapiano, R&B and Jazz on one dynamic stage. It will offer a wide variety of activities which include children’s entertainment, diverse food vendors, artisan markets offering something for everyone, making it not just about music but a space where families and friend can enjoy food, entertainment and a spectacular New Year’s countdown.
The line-up for December 31 includes Kabza De Small, Focalistic, Lady Du, King Monada, Mawoo, Kharishma, Nkosazana Daughter, Uncool Mc, DJ Zodi Leemckrazy and many more.
On January 1 2026, Mandisi Dyantyis, Zonke, Selaelo Selota, Bhudaza, Thope Tse Khang, Teboho Moloi, Mafikizolo, Bucy Radebe, Boom Shaka, Trompies, Thebe, Mdu Masilela, Bongo Muffin and many more will perform. Tickets will soon be available through Computicket (Shoprite, Checkers, Checkers Hyper, Usave) and Ticket Pro (SPAR, Choppies, Edgars, CNA).
