The roof was fixed with 50% outstanding improvements to be completed in the new financial year. During his visit, the mayor instructed the Electrical Department to also fix faulty lighting on some levels of the library. Old carpets in the children’s section will be replaced with rubber carpets suitable for kids.

The Executive Mayor was accompanied by the Director of Community Services, Pheello Setona, the Acting Deputy Director of Sports, Arts and Culture, Dr Sanet Ouwencamp as well as the Chief Librarian Caroline Sedupe.
