Kanana - Rev Matshidiso Sarah ‘Poppy’ Mofokeng Mtolo was a full member of Phodiso Worship Centre. She passed away recently. She was ordained by Apostle TD Mofokeng and became a Pastor in 2022. Her role was delivering the Word of God. She was a servant of God who dedicated her life to shepherding His flock. Her words of encouragement, prayers and her unwavering love for the Lord touched everyone deeply. Rev Poppy Mofokeng Mtolo reminded that true greatness is found not in titles or recognition, but in humble service and steadfast faith.
She also served as church chairperson from 2022 to 2023.
She was chairperson of Tsheetsanang burial society which falls under the umbrella of United Burial Society from 1998. Under her stewardship, the society grew stronger, more compassionate, and more resilient.
She will be laid to rest on February 7. The service will be held at Mokati Hall, Kanana at 07:00.
