Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - Round Table Matlosane 45’s annual Quiz Night is a great way to help the community, by including the community, and to have lots of fun. The Quiz Night took place at Ficassio on Friday September 12, and it was a great event. The categories were tough, and tested the teams’ knowledge. The categories included history, drinks, identify this song and South Africa among others.
The event was in aid of the four-legged friends of the Orkney and Klerksdorp Animal Shelter.
Prizes were awarded for the best dressed and the auction netted R22 000. This amount will be going to the shelter in total.
At the time of going to press, some expenses still had to be covered, but the shelter can get another R8 000 for the evening.
R30 000 will definitely cover some of their expenses.
