Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - Ryu Kyu GoJu Karate displayed excellent talent at the first ever Martial Arts SA national championship 2024. The club entered only two students, but returned with eight medals.
Also at the event, Sensei Nathen Olivier took part in the Masa National Referee Course & Cutmen Course (first aid for contact sport).

Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - Die 97ste Comrades Marathon het die afgelope naweek plaasgevind met ‘n Nederlander, Piet Wiersma, die eerste man, en Gerda Steyn van Bothaville die eerste vrou oor die wenstreep. Steyn het die marathon die derde keer gewen én in ‘n rekordtyd op Sondag 9 Junie.

Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - Lawns bowls can be great fun and playing the game for a good cause can be even more fun. The Rotary Club of Orkney is hosting a Charity Bowls Day at Klerksdorp Bowls Club on July 20.
Dragstar up for grabs
Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - Bikers Care NW is running a raffle where you can win a custom Yamaha 1100 Dragstar as the first prize.
Tickets are R100 each and the winner will be announced at Bokkies Pub and Braai on July 27. The raffle’s second prize is a helmet, jacket and gloves, third prize is a whole sheep and the fourth prize is custom knife/wine rack.
