Kenian javelin champion Alexander Kiprotich arrived in South Africa this past weekend to train under the watchful eye of coach Erich Wiese in Klerksdorp. Alexander is an African u20 champion, silver medal winner in the All-African Games and Bronze medallist in the African championship. Wiese said he will be in Klerksdorp for three weeks, also receiving conditioning from biokineticist Monique van Niekerk in preparation for the African Games and the Olympics later this year.
