Lentswe, Klerksdorp - The 95th Women’s World Day of Prayer in SA takes place next month. All women are invited to come and celebrate the 60th Women’s Prayer Day in Klerksdorp as well as the 95th celebration in SA this year. This annual event all over the world, where women gather to pray, takes place on March 7, at 10:00, at NG Kerk La Hoff, 44 Odendaal Street.
Police active throughout the province
Lentswe, Klerksdorp - The police working with other law enforcement agencies and role players remain steadfast in ensuring that Operation Shanela puts criminals behind bars. This follows the arrest of 780 suspects in the province between January 27 and February 2.
Cops arrested for Tiger’s escape
Lentswe, Stilfontein - Four police officers were arrested last week for their involvement in the escape of Stilfontein underground kingpin, Neo James Tiger Tshwaeli. All four of the police officers worked on the Stilfontein Vala Umgodi operation. They were arrested on Friday Janaury 31 and were charged with defeating the ends of justice.

Zamas: Help identify the bodies
Lentswe, Stilfontein - The police ask your help to identify 78 bodies of supposed illegal miners that were recovered from underground.
As part of ongoing investigations into the inquest dockets regarding the dead miners retrieved at Buffelsfontein Gold Mine’s shaft no 11 during the Mine Rescue Operation, relatives of the deceased are requested to come forward for the identification process.
