Klerksdorp Midweek, Groot-Marico - The annual Marico Bosman weekend is on the cards for people who enjoy the work of writer Herman Charles Bosman and the charm of the Marico. The next Marico Bosman weekend will take place from October 24 to 26. This year’s theme is taken from a passage in Bosman’s essay “Marico revisited”, where he writes that on visiting the Marico after an absence of many years, he “found what I should have known, all along(…) that it was the present that was haunted, and that the past was not full of ghosts”.
The cost will be R1400 per person and it will include all the meals and performances from Friday evening to Sunday lunch There will be some additional activities like mampoer tasting etc. where you will have a choice of participation and will have to contribute extra.
