Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - The recent killing of a widowed father in his home in Songloed sent shockwaves through the city. At the time of going to press on Wednesday November 26, the police confirmed that nobody has been arrested for the murder of Matloko Moitshane (54).

He was killed in the early hours of Friday November 21 after suffering a gunshot wound to his chest during a home invasion. Robbers gained entry through a bedroom window and woke the dad and his children. That is when the nightmare started.

The power went off at around 10:00 on Sunday November 23. Those who have solar or invertors running on Eskom power were blissfully unaware. Those without emergency power were immediately left powerless.
