Klerksdorp Midweek, Hartbeesfontein - The business community of Hartbeesfontein is working with the Matlosana Municipality to keep the Tigane and Hartbeesfontein areas clean and beautiful. Last week, the municipality thanked Johan le Roux and Freda de Klerk for their initiative and effort to uplift the community. “They work with municipal park officials led by the parks supervisor, Daniel Maane to keep the town and township tidy. They assist with their equipment and machinery for town clean-up efforts and have have installed rubbish bins throughout the town to minimize littering,” said Ntswaki Makgetha, municipal spokesperson.

Klerksdorp Midweek, Taung - The Taung Agricultural College held its winter graduation which marked a proud milestone for both the institution and the province, celebrating 14 women and 19 men who graduated. The 33 students officially received Diplomas in Agriculture, specialising in Irrigation, during a prestigious graduation ceremony held last week.
