RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - Election fever is upon us! Or is it?
Looking at the current climate surrounding the national elections (in just over a month), are South Africans really excited to have their voices heard or have some voters become so despondent and numb that it’s not even a hot topic? Political parties are rallying and putting up posters, but, at times, it seems that the public feels numb - and even a little indifferent.

Maybe it’s just the older generation, who have now been through the drill of elections - one too many times to count, without the outcome they had wished for?
The Herald took to the streets of Rustenburg to “test the (election) waters’’, so to speak, among the younger generation of voters - and especially those who will have the first ever opportunity of their lives to cast their votes.
