RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - A 39-year-old man, Manda Mulaudzi, was arrested and charged with murder and multiple rapes in Rustenburg.
Following his appearance in the Rustenburg Magistrate Court on 25 November, he was remanded in custody until 5 December for a formal bail application.

The investigation began after a 47-year-old woman was found murdered at Olympia Stadium on 6 November. Mulaudzi is alleged to have targeted sex workers, lured them to isolated locations, and then raped and robbed them. Detective Sergeant Keoarapetse Ramokgadi linked Mulaudzi to two other reported rape cases, with both victims positively identifying him in an identity parade.
Brigadier Mamotsamai Ntoagae, Acting Bojanala Platinum Sub-District 2 Commissioner, praised the investigative efforts and encouraged other potential victims to come forward. Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Sergeant Ramokgadi at 082 772 8941.
