RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - On Tuesday, 6 February, a successful intelligence driven operation by the Tlhabane police led to the arrest of two Nigerian nationals aged 28 & 31 years old for possession of drugs at Rustenburg Noord in Napoleon Street. 
It is alleged that upon the arrival of the police at the house, both suspects were busy packaging Nyaope in one of the bedrooms in preparation for an anticipated bulk sale.

The police proceeded to search the house and a large amount of other drugs, Rock & Crystal methyl with the street value of more than hundred thousand rand (R100 000), a live round of ammunition and an undisclosed amount of money which is believed to be the proceeds of crime were found inside.
Both suspects were unable to produce their legal immigration documents when requested and a further charge was added. They are expected to appear before the Bafokeng Magistrate Court on Thursday 08 February 2024 on three counts of possession of drugs, possession of live ammunition and contravention of illegal immigration Act. 
The Acting Bojanala Platinum Sub-District 2 Commissioner, Brigadier Mamotsamai Ntoagae praised and thanked the Tlhabane police for their second bust of a drug dealer within a week and further warned the community especially the youth to stay away from all types of drugs.
