Klerksdorp Rekord, Wolmaransstad - Hengelaars kan hul solank gereed maak vir die Deon Neldam 24 uur-visvangkompetisie wat in Oktober plaasvind.

Die kompetisie vind op 18 Oktober plaas, en sal plaasvind van 13:00 die Saterdag tot 13:00 die Sondag (18 - 19 Oktober). Die inskryfgeld is R250 per hengelaar en R90 hekgeld vir die twee dae. Dit kos R60 hekgeld vir nie-hengelaars.

Die reëls bepaal geen aasbote of kanoes nie, twee stokke per hengelaar, elke hengelaar het sy eie net, die kompetisie begin en eindig met ‘n toeter en die finale inweeg is op 19 Oktober om 13:15, met die prysuitdeling daarna.

Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - The Traditional International Shotokan Karate Association (Tiska) hosted its highly anticipated national and international championship on September 12 and 13.

The event brought together karateka from across South Africa and abroad, including a strong team from England, in a weekend filled with discipline, determination, and world-class karate. Adding prestige to the championship was the presence of Tiska’s founder, Gursharan Sahota, who travelled specially to attend the event.

Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - The Klerksdorp Wrestling Club hosted a commemorative tournament last weekend to mark its 50th anniversary. 

This special occasion was organised to honour the visionaries who, in 1975, established a facility committed to promoting youth wrestling in the community. Their mission was to foster discipline, nurture both body and mind, and equip young people with the resilience needed to face life’s challenges.
