    RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - Soos gewoonlik hierdie tyd van die jaar, trek al wat Rustenburger is se bors toe van benoudheid - ja die langverwagte Rustenburgse Munisipale begroting van 2025/26 met tariewe wat normaalweg net een pad ken en dit is opwaarts!
    Nuwe tariewe wat vanaf 1 Julie 2025 gehef gaan word is onlangs aangekondig en ‘n mens sal effens optimisties moet wees om te hoop dat die RLM sy verbruikers genadig sal wees met tariefverhogings wat min of meer inflasiekoersgedrewe is - die amptelike inflasiekoers is immers net 2.8%. 

     

  • Man dies after brawl over a car

    RUSTENBURG HERALD - MOGWASE - The Police in Mogwase have launched a murder investigation following the tragic death of a 37-year-old man who succumbed to injuries sustained during an alleged assault.
    According to information received from Sgt Ofentse Mokgadi, Rustenburg police spokesperson, preliminary reports indicate that the incident occurred on the evening of Saturday, 7 June, at the suspect’s residence in Unit 8, Mogwase.

    RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - As usual around this time of the year most consumers have an extra frown or two on the forehead in anticipation of new municipal tariffs in terms of the RLM annual budget of 2025/26. 
    It’s old hat that consumer tariffs know only one way and that is up! New tariffs that will be charged in terms of the RLM annual budget 2025/26 are as follows: (One will have to be somewhat optimistic to hope that the Rustenburg Municipality will show consumers a little bit of mercy with tariffs that are more or less equal to the inflation rate which is currently only 2.8%).
