NOORDWESTER – VENTERSDORP- In Dr Kenneth Kaunda District, the Provincial Anti-Gang Unit, Provincial Proactive Drug Operations, Ventersdorp Crime Prevention and Community Police Forum (CPF) members executed search and seizure warrants at Boikhutsong village, Goedgevonden village and Tshing location, Ventersdorp on Friday, 14 November.  Silengene Tokwana (35) and Molefi Elliot Sakhachane (35) were arrested for dealing in drugs and possession of suspected illegal substances, respectively. 

NOORDWESTER – MAHIKENG - The Mahikeng-based Serious Commercial Crime Investigation Unit seeks the public’s assistance in locating a man who is linked to a fraud case. 
In May 2022, a woman from Mahikeng in the North West Province was allegedly defrauded over R800 000 by her boyfriend, who is believed to be an Ugandan national. Reports indicate that the woman was told by her boyfriend to resign from her work and take all her pension money to a prayer room where it would be blessed by her ancestors.

NOORDWESTER – COLIGNY - Raising awareness on cancer and taking action to create a world where individuals are seen as a whole person, not just a diagnosis, on Wednesday, 5 November the SAPS Women’s Network and Men for Change from Lichtenburg, Atamelang, Biesiesvlei, Coligny, Delareyville, Itsoseng, Ottosdal, Sannieshof, K9 unit and Local Criminal Record Centre gathered together at Mmelegi Primary School in Coligny for cancer public education. 

Members of the Itsoseng Retired Legends recently welcomed two new retired SAPS members at the function on 7 November held in Mahikeng. Front: Lebogang Mokgothu (40 years service), Petrus Cwaile (32 years service), Kenosi Motaung (33 years service), Detective Warrant Officer Bushy Moshwang (newly retired with 35 years service) and Thabo Moabi (33 years service).
