NOORDWESTER - BLOEMHOF: A 52-year-old police impersonator, Sinki Lukas Msiba, was remanded in custody for further investigation when he appeared in the Bloemhof Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 19 November. He will reappear on Monday, 8 December.
Msiba arrived at Bloemhof police station on Tuesday evening, 18 November, and introduced himself as a Colonel from Pretoria.

Arson and murder suspect arrested
NOORDWESTER – ZEERUST - Zeerust Police are investigating cases of arson and murder after an incident was reported on Sunday, 16 November at about 08:30.
Keamogetswe Mabe (21) is expected to reappear in the Zeerust Magistrate’s Court for a bail application. Mabe was remanded in custody when he made first and second appearances in court on Monday, 17 and Tuesday, 18 November, on charges of arson and murder.
Succesful arrest of drug dealers by authorities
NOORDWESTER – VENTERSDORP- In Dr Kenneth Kaunda District, the Provincial Anti-Gang Unit, Provincial Proactive Drug Operations, Ventersdorp Crime Prevention and Community Police Forum (CPF) members executed search and seizure warrants at Boikhutsong village, Goedgevonden village and Tshing location, Ventersdorp on Friday, 14 November. Silengene Tokwana (35) and Molefi Elliot Sakhachane (35) were arrested for dealing in drugs and possession of suspected illegal substances, respectively.
