NOORDWESTER - LICHTENBURG - In a media statement, the MEC for Community Safety and Transport Management in the North West, MEC Wessels Morweng, commented on being worried by the lack of commuter transport on Atamelang routes to Mahikeng.
MEC Morweng said that he is worried, but not shocked by the unavailability of Atamelang buses on their designated routes around parts of Ngaka Modiri Molema District.

NOORDWESTER - MOLOPO – The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) welcomes the life imprisonment sentence handed down by the Molopo Regional Court to Daniel Sekunelo Togole (57) for rape and additional twenty years for robbery with aggravating circumstances. 
The court ordered that both sentences run concurrently, and the accused has been added to the National Register for Sex Offenders.

NOORDWESTER – ZEERUST - The Zeerust Regional Court has sentenced Gopolang Seikaneng (34) to life imprisonment for rape and an additional eight years for attempted rape. Jacob Mosimane Sebogodi (42) received two life sentences for two counts of rape. The court ordered that all sentences run concurrently, and both accused have been added to the National Register for Sex Offenders.

NOORDWESTER - LICHTENBURG - Coligny and Lichtenburg Crime Prevention, Lichtenburg K9 and Ottosdal Detectives worked together, following information received on suspects allegedly involved in a house burglary reported on a farm 30 April in Coligny, at about 03:00. During the housebreaking, various firearms were stolen from a safe, that was mounted on a wall.
