NOORDWESTER – MOCOSENG - The police, Men for Change structure, in the Ngaka Modiri Molema District, called women from 23 police stations together to appreciate, empower and motivate them on Friday, 12 September at Roadside Chesanyama in Mocoseng village. Women were acknowledged for the vital role they play in the work place and society, as the female gender has faced subjugation and systematic oppression throughout history. Women dressed up in colourful, bright tutu skirts.

NOORDWESTER – KOSTER - Koster police request the community’s assistance in locating Otshepeng Mosweunyana (27), who is residing at Thebe Street in Reagile, near Koster. 
He was last seen by his father at their home on Monday, 30 June at about 10:00. At 12:00 on the same day, his black machangane bag (Tsonga), was found abandoned outside the dentist’s surgery in Reagile.

NOORDWESTER – LICHTENBURG - Casual Day is an annual event aimed at raising funds for persons with disabilities to create awareness regarding disabilities within the South African Police Service. On Friday, 5 September, Ditsobotla service point consisting of Lichtenburg, Biesiesvlei, Coligny, Itsoseng, Detectives, Local Criminal Record Centre (LCRC), Dog unit (K9), Crime Intelligence Gathering (CIG), Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) gathered together at Lichtenburg rugby stadium to honour persons with disabilities.

NOORDWESTER - VENTERSDORP - On Wednesday, 3 September, alert police officers in Ventersdorp noticed a truck parked next to the N14 Road, between Coligny and Ventersdorp during the early hours of the morning. Upon investigation, they discovered copper cables in the back of the truck of which the occupants could not give account for. Dzikamai Christoffer Sangodimambo (29) and Lovemore Mushayavanhuti (44) were immediately arrested and appeared in the Ventersdorp Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 4 September for possession of suspected stolen property.
