BRITS POS – BRITS - Nachy Britz (29) is Maandag, 28 Oktober, in die Brits-landdroshof tot vyftien (15) jaar direkte gevangenisstraf gevonnis nadat sy op twee aanklagte van bedrog skuldig bevind is. 
Tussen 2016 en 2018 het Britz niksvermoedende slagoffers bedrieg en mislei en hulle laat glo dat sy ‘n sakevrou is wat wettig luukse voertuie teen ‘n billike prys vanaf die Verenigde State van Amerika invoer. Die slagoffers het belangstelling getoon in van die voertuie wat Britz aan hulle voorgehou het.

BRITS POS – BRITS –  Criminals continue to find new ways to commit vehicle theft, focusing on areas of vulnerability to strike. A concerning new modus operandi has emerged where suspects are targeting vehicles at local car washes.
“We cannot allow bad elements to take advantage of our communities,” says Charnel Hattingh, Group Head of Marketing & Communications, Fidelity ADT. Hattingh says after arriving at a car wash, unsuspecting customers often leave their cars – and keys – behind to shop or run errands.

Hierdie vinnige optrede het die voortsnellende brand, aangedryf deur ‘n stormsterkte wind teen 23:00 onder bedwang kon bring. 

BRITS POS – BRITS - Dirk Johannes Kotze (51) was arrested on Wednesday, 9 October for attempted murder. It is alleged that three men were around the farm of the suspect at a dumping site in Zandfontein at on Monday, 7 October at about 18:30, when the suspect allegedly fired shots at the men and injured one of them on his right leg.
